A single storey bespoke dwelling set within beautiful Leicestershire

The scale, proportion and layout of the new single storey dwelling has been carefully considered and designed to sympathetically integrate into the character of Billesdon Conservation Area, yet reflect ideas of contemporary living.

The client’s brief included the creation of modern living accommodation catering for long term multi generation use. The requirements included an open plan kitchen/ diner and a flexible layout for both a young and evolving family, as well as space for homeworking.

An ‘L’ shaped plan was designed around two wings with the internal spaces positioned around a series of framed views notably to the East and South. The internal layout provides generous daytime living space - making best use of the plot's surroundings and orientation.
