New-build dwelling within the grounds of a Grade II Listed Property.
The buildings and site at East Bridgford Hill are Grade II listed, on greenbelt land.
Staniforth Architects worked closely with the client, planners and conservation team to design and deliver a new-build dwelling which this historical context.
The dwelling has been thoughtfully designed to sit discreetly within it’s setting, embracing an eco-friendly approach through the integration of solar panels and a high-performance building fabric. The architecture responds sensitively to it’s context, with careful placement creating a sheltered, nestled presence that enhances both privacy and strong sense of enclosure.
We are extremely proud to have achieved this level of intervention, nuance and balance within such a historic setting.
